Conventional Impressions

A conventional temporary can be converted to a final restoration by scanning the upper and lower temporary.

If you are converting a regular denture or using smart denture conversion, you are using the conventional conversion technique. This is a fully non-digital workflow. Converting this fixed temporary to a final restoration requires implant-level impression but using an intra-oral scanner to scan the intaglio of the upper / lower fixed temporary converted denture. This would be the initial impression necessary to fabricate the working jig. an alternative would be to take a closed-tray impression of the implants and send an impression of the upper / lower temporaries to the laboratory for scanning and positioning.
